  3.             Evil's trial

  5.  This isa story  of a fellow  who used 
  6. fake stamps and was caught. 
  7.  Living in Finland is really hard now-
  8. adays, many fake stamp users have been
  9. caught by PTL and police. PTL  (Post &
  10. Tele Corporation) has  decided  to sue 
  11. in the court of law every  fake  user,
  12. that  they  know for sure. And I think 
  13. I'm one of those they knew for sure.  
  14. I started using fakes late summer '88.
  15. I won't say anything about the amounts 
  16. of  the  fakes  I used. Anyway, in the 
  17. hearing  which was held a month or two
  18. after I quit using fakes, I said I had
  19. used about 40 fake stamps valued about
  20. 200 FMK.  After the court of law asked
  21. me, 'Is this true ??', they decided to
  22. make me pay 600 FMK for goverment. And  
  23. also  PTL wanted  me to pay 200 FMK to
  24. them  for  their  losses. And then the  
  25. court had to have their fees, 100 FMK. 
  26.  During  the trial the headchief began
  27. to speak things about moral assets.

  29.  I think a  warning example  was made,
  30. just too bad it had  to be me.  If you
  31. are going to start using fakes, don't.
  32. Risk is too high, they watch all send-
  33. ings  really  carefully.  If they find
  34. anything suspicious, they put you into
  35. special surveillance.  If your post is
  36. a day  or two  late, you're in special
  37. surveillance.  Several  of  my friends 
  38. have  been  in  that,  and believe me, 
  39. it's not fun to get all news day after 
  40. others  get it. Well, if you think you 
  41. have extra money for fines,  feel free
  42. to use fakes. But remember, under  any
  43. circumstances, DO NOT write your name,
  44. out- or  inside the  envelope, and be-
  45. fore sending letters make arrangements 
  46. with  the receiver so that he does not 
  47. turn you in.
